This is an 18+ only event. Some of these events have upwards of 300 attendees, but we've chosen to limit seats to only 130, making your odds of winning pretty good! In addition to the 10 Coach Bags, we'll have smaller surprise giveaways, great music by DJ Willy, food & lots of fun! --All for a meaningful cause! Add-ons: Raffle tickets purchased online will be presented to you at the event!
Along The Way provides FREE child care to single mothers in their homes so they can work/go to school nights & weekends when schools & daycares are closed.
- 41% of children born in PA are born to single mothers.
- The National Women's Law Center has identified lack of reliable child care as one of the biggest obstacles to single mothers participation in the workforce; nationally only 8% of child care centers are open after 7pm or on the weekends and in the areas Along The Way serves there are ZERO!
Along The Way provides critical anti-poverty and community economic development services because a single mother without child care can't work, meaning she can't get out of poverty! Amidst the current labor shortage, it is critical that our community comes to together to help people get back to work.
